What is a Class 3 and 5 licence?
A class 3 truck has a gross combined weight between 12,000kg and 25,000kg.
A class 5 truck has a gross combined weight of more than 25,000kg or has more.

Am I eligible?
If you have held your Class 2 licence for 3 months (6 months if you are under 25), you are eligible to sit your Class 3 licence. If you have held your Class 4 licence for 3 months (6 months if you are under 25), then you are eligible to sit your Class 5 licence.
What do I need prior to starting?
You will need to bring a drivers medical with you when you come to this course, which you can get at your GP. You will also need to bring your current photo drivers licence.
What is involved?
Once you have paid your deposit we will send you training material. This material helps you start your learning for the Theory part of your licence. Training covers study and testing to gain your Class 3 or 5 learners licence followed by study and testing to gain your class 3 or 5 full licence (which includes practical driving training and formal driving assessment)
